The opening scene shows this fuzzy creature called Cloney falling out of a pipe, after which you take control and try to make it out of this gorgeous yet hazardous wasteland. Despite this, I’m still not too sure what the story is.

Because of the relative shortness of much of the levels I personally find that BADLAND is most suited to portable devices and it’s still one of my favourite go-to games whilst traveling. Since doing my initial thoughts on BADLAND I’ve always felt that the game deserved its own separate review and last month’s re-release provided the perfect oppotunity.

Without a doubt the Game of the Year Edition is a fantastic port, but it is hard to recommend it to people when the app continues to be far cheaper on iOS and Android devices.
